A butterfly does not count the days of its life but rather it counts the moments and lives them to its fullest and yet all the time it has is still enough. We are but small butterflies in the garden of life. This artwork depicts the lifespan of a butterfly which is just a few days to weeks and yet it flies around so joyously. It is a living proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness yet become something beautiful. They remind us what of a gift it is to be alive. No matter how strongly the caterpillar in you clings on to the leaf, it is up to you to become a butterfly by living to the fullest and enjoying each moment of your life.

Look at the colors, look how bright they shine, I wish I could leave my busy life behind,
If I could pause life just in this moment, peacefully watching without the futures torment
and brush my hand against the nature’s water, for how many more times could I hear the birds chatter,
Forever I wish I could stay here, playing with the fishes in the water crystal clear.

Poster significantly depicts how past regrets daily dramas keeps up away from enjoying present moment we get to live it can be as simple as taking a walk in nature alone or with loved ones being mindful of surroundings. We can’t change the past nor we can control the future only we can plan .As we all know life is unpredictable so practicing LIVING IN MOMENT keeps us happy where we are future makes s uncertain about things out of our control past makes us overthink, instead we can skip to the good part of choosing to be present in what ever we r doing or just being in the moment
The mere purpose of past is to learning from the experience bad or good and that of future is to something to look forward to
Excitement of uncertain being being ready for whatever comes .Hence I would like to conclude by the quote 《Forever is composed of now .》

My take and understanding on this topic is about living enjoying and relishing the present moment, so these are a few moment in college that I always look forward to and feel like I am myself.
Starting from the right corner the vertebral column represents two things for me, 1) anatomy drawing and the journal I used to love to complete & 2) The phrase ‘I Got Your Back’ like how my friends always have my back.
On the top left, Is outside the electro lab and my most favorite place to sit whether its for lunch or just daily gossip sessions.
The carrom board and table tennis rackets are our favorite get away while either bunking lectures, break times or even after college .
The Coffee Cup is a symbol of peace and ‘Me Time’ for me when I feel my surrounding is getting chaotic for me and I need a break.
The pillows: The ones on our classroom plinths where we love to relax and chill in our free times.
The GCR gate: Where we sometimes hide from teachers or posting Incharges, where we sit in one corner just to listen to music or watch people play carrom. Even doing absolutely nothing in the GCR makes memories somehow.
The college gate: Whenever we enter the campus be it day or night this view never disappoint us, from the beautiful sky above and the greenery all over just feels calm and feels like ‘Yes we earned this, We deserve it’.
The stethoscope and hammer mean something very special to me because as a kid in school I never got good marks i was always below average in studies and all the teachers always told me that ‘I wouldn’t last a day in science and that I should take arts or sit at home’, but wearing this stethoscope and meeting patients, evaluating and treating them make me feel happy cause I proved a lot of people wrong, I Did what I had thought I would do and no one could and will pull me down!

Instead of seeing life as a bigger picture, What if we starting seeing it as a mosaic small moments?
It’s in the little things of daily life- making time for yourself to read, exercise, eat, talk/ meet your people, play with your fluffy friends, sleep early and wake up before the alarm goes off.
And do all things with your whole heart- Music, dance, sports, games, journaling, self care, socializing and taking time for yourself too.
Living happily and contently through all these small moments in life also while reflecting and thanking on your previous achievements and victories.
Writing down daily goals and to- do lists – To live one day at a time!
Not letting minor failures stop you from trying. Ask yourself, What if I fall? But What if I fly?

Be like a very small joyous child ,
living gloriously in the ever present now,
without a single worry or concern about the next moment of time

Kritika Pai – 2 BPTH

We often miss out on good things happening in our lives in the present because of overthinking about the past and worrying about the future. We punish ourselves because of other people’s negative behavior/role in our lives. If we let go off these bad memories embrace it a a part of life  and have a positive approach towards the future we will be able to focus more on the present and live it to the fullest. In my painting i have tried to show a Girl who has bad past experiences and who is worrisome of her future and she tightly holds on to it but when she lets all these things go away she focuses more on the present,  focuses more on the good aspects of her live… basically living in the moment !

Prisha Mehta – 4 BPTH

Life is more than what we make of it,
It’s unpredictable, it’s evolutionary – full of surprises.
We live in a rainbow of chaos – yet hope to separate out the colors.
What we don’t understand is,
life cannot be planned,
Life cannot be scheduled to our needs.
Life is impulsive, it’s fast,
Life is to live in the moment,
And enjoy where you are,
to your with gut.
Life cannot be that one perfect picture, after a million others.
Life is your one chance,
Don’t make it perfect,
Just live,
Impulsively.
